The foundation is made wide so that the building will be stable to tackle even with any worse conditions.
The stability of any object is more when its base is wider and doesn't topple down easily.

The foundation of a building made wide bcoz it's the main part the foundations of the building transfer the weight of the building to the ground so it's is much imp to build wide foundation in compare of walls..this increases the durability of the building...hope this will help you..plss mark as branliest..thank you
