hi buddy thank you for asking this question ,
the handles of a saucepan aremade of thermosetting plastic because it is a bad conductor of heat and does not get heated up while cooking.

THERMOSETTING plastic are used for making handle of sausepans because they are bad conductor of heat and they does not melt at high temperature.
