when we use wheels we go faster whereas when we need to push a table we get trouble so if area is more then the friction is more if area is less than friction is less

When an object started moving,the irregularities on its surface do not get enough time to lock into the irregularities on the surface of the object completely. Since the interlocking of the two surfaces is less when an object had already started moving,therefore ,the sliding friction is less than the static friction
