Measuring time refers to keeping an account of changes in time. We need to measure time for various purposes in our day to day life. Measuring time makes our life more convenient. Without measuring time it would have been nearly impossible to calculate the speed of a body. Not only this but also many of our equations which transformed the world would have never came into existence if time wasn't measured. Without time measurement, our life will be pretty much hell as we won't be able to meet a person at a specific place at a specific time. Let's understand it better with an example.
Suppose you want to meet your girlfriend (remember there exist no measuring of time). You tell her the place of meeting, Taj Lands. But now here comes the twist, we all know that to travel to a specific place and meet a person we need to know the place and time.Because without knowing time you both can't reach the destination at the same time.
It was just a single example, of how complex our life would become without measuring time. We won't be able to do any of the task, we won't be able to work in team. As per the view of science it will be of great loss if time measurement would not have been started. So considering all these factors, it's really necessary to measure time.
