When a solid dissolves in a liquid it seems to disappear into it. How is it possible?

because it is due to diffusion phenomenon..example take a sugar cube and drop it in milk or water u can observe that it has dissolved its due to diffussion

When a solid dissolves in a liquid it seems to disappear into it because the solid particles (which cannot be seen through our naked eyes) diffuse into the water particles. The solid begins to dissolve and thus disappear into it.
