explain why when some fireworks are at a distance we see the fireworks first rather than hearing the sound of explosion

this is because of the speed of light and sound. we know that light travels at the speed of 3x10^8 m/s while sound travels at 334 m/s.
We see the firework works first because the because burning emits light . It is a fact that it travels faster than sound . So the sound energy produced during the burning of fire work reaches us late . So we hear the found after vizualizing it
