If we heat some elements like tungsten they emit energy in the form of light. This principle is used in the working of bulb. There will a tungsten filament inside the bulb, which will be heated by passing the current, producing light. Fusing of bulb means the melting of the filament.

Bulb is generally made up of tungsten wire which is glow due to the flow of electric current, in the wire due to the heat produced according to joule law of heating.

Fuse is the device which is used to prevent the circuit from high voltage , actually it is the thin wire which is break due to the unusual flow of high voltage, hence it prevent it from high voltage
