Answer: XNOR Gate is a logic gate whose output is at logic high when both inputs are same or equal.

XNOR gate is  a logic gate whose output is at logic low when both inputs are different or inequal.

XNOR Gate detects equal inputs by producing logic high at the output so, it is also called equality detector.
