Answer: Iswaran was Mahendra's <Jook and wholesale caretaker of Mahendra. He had an amazing capacity to produce vegetables and cooked ingredients seemingly out of nowhere. He not only could cook delicious meals but he was a good story teller.

- The job of Mahendra - Mahendra was a junior supervisor in a firm, he moved from site to site along with his cook Iswaran.
- Iswaran(Amazing Servant and Entertainer) - Iswaran cooked for his master Mahendra, washed his clothes, and cleaned his shelter. He used to tell thriller stories to Mahendra in leisure time.
- Iswaran narrates a story of a Tuskar - Iswaran tells a story about his school days describing how he had tamed a tusker(wild elephant) which had damaged many properties of his school.
- Iswaran narrates a story of ghost and Mahendra's reaction - On a nice day, he told a ghost story about a woman holding a foetus in her hand on a full moon night where they were living. Mahendra asked Iswaran to stop telling him such stories as he didn't believe in ghosts.
- Mahendra's encounter with a ghost - After few days Mahendra woke by a noise at night. He thought it might be any animal but the sound became louder. He saw a cloudy figure clutching a bundle near his window sill. He could not sleep anymore. In the morning Iswaran asked Mahendra whether he has seen the ghost. Mahendra got upset and resigned from his site job immediately as he did not want to stay there any longer.
