GIVEN :-

  • Perimeter Of Equilateral Triangle = 60cm.

TO FIND :-

  • What is its area?

SOLUTION :-

Let, each side be x.

Perimeter Of Triangle = 60cm.

➝ x + x + x = 60 cm.

➝ 3x = 60cm.

➝ x = 60 ÷ 3

➝ x = 20cm.

Now, Each Side = 20cm.

Formula Used :-

Area Of Equilateral Triangle = √3 × (Side)²/4.

➝ Area = √3 × (20)²/4.

➝ Area = √3 × 20 × 20/4.

➝ Area = 100√3 cm².

● Therefore, Area = 100√3 cm².
