The government has identify 15 basic amenities to enhance quality of life in villages . It has asked gram Panchayat (GPs) to make all these facilities available to the people. These include drinking water , playgrounds and open air theatres . The scope of basic amenities include safe drinking water , sanitation , housing all weather road to village, esterification , fuel connectivity , healthcare center , school , playground and recreational facilities and many more. Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh is the poorest in the country where 76.5 per cent of people are poor .
