Hii friend,

X² + 4X + 4

X² + 2X + 2X + 4

X( X +2) +2( X +2)

(X+2) ( X +2)

X + 2 = 0

X = -2

Hence,

-2 is the factor of X²+4X+4.

Solution :
Factor of x^2+4x+4 are
By splitting middle term method ,

=>x^2+4x+4
=> x^2+2x+2x+4
=>x(x+2) +2(x+2)
=>(x+2) (x+2)

For Factors ,
=>(x+2) (x+2) =0
=>x= -2 & x = -2
So , Factors are -2 & -2 .
