 \:  \:  \:  \: 1 - 3 { a}^{2} \\   = (1 -  \sqrt{3}a)(1  +  \sqrt{3}a).
(By applying identity:-

 (x + y)(x - y) =  {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}
