-25y²+1/4x²=0
or (1/2y)²-(5y)²=0. as we know a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b)

so
(1/2x+5y)(1/2x-5y)=0
so here are the factors

1/4x^2 - 25y^2
= (1/2x)^2 - (5y)^2 [ a^2-b^2=(a+b) (a-b)]
=( 1/2x +5y ) ( 1/2x -5y )
Hope it helps u...
