6x² +17x +5

= 6x² +2x +15x +5

= 2x(3x +1) +5(3x +1)

= (2x+5)(3x+1)

= x = -5/2 and x = -1/3

D = b²-4ac

= (17)² -4(6)(5)

= 289 - 120

= 169

x = -b +-√D /2a

= -17 +13 /2(6) or -17-13/ 2(6)

= -4/12 or -30/12

= -1/3. or -5/2
