a ( a+ b+ c) - bc..........as given in the question
multiplying a with the bracketed terms - u get
a2 + ab - ac - bc ( -bc as it is from the question)
taking common out from  a2 + ab...common is a
so..a( a+b)
similarly taking common out from the remaining terms
u get
-c ( a+b)
combining the common terms the final asnwer is...
a( a+b) - c ( a+b )
hope it helps u :)
