factorise:
 {x}^{2}  - 2 +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  -  {y}^{2}

x^2 + 1/x^2 - 2 - y^2

= x^2 + 1/x^2 -2.x.1/x - y^2

= ( x - 1/x)^2 - y^2

= ( x-1/x+y)(x-1/x-y)
