using a2-2ab+b2 =(a-b)2,factorise the expression
Ans:=(x-√5)2

the expression is equal to (x-√5)^2

using splitting the middle term method
 {x}^{2}  -  \sqrt{5} x -  \sqrt{5} x + x
x(x -  \sqrt{5} ) +  \sqrt{5} (x -  \sqrt{5} )
(x +   \sqrt{5} )(x -  \sqrt{5} ) = 0
x =  -  \sqrt{5}  \:  \: or \: x =  \sqrt{5}
