factorise x square - 2

(x^2-2)= (x^2)-(2)
= (x^2)-(√2^2)
=(x)^2-(√2)^2
[Now using identity
(x+y)(x-y)=x^2-y^2]
=(x+√2)(x-√2)
Hence factorised.

x²-2 = 0
x² = 2
x = + √2 ; -√2
