Hey buddy here is your answer.

“Constitution is the sole of a country.”

So we can't measure it by saying bulky, hard , weak , flexible etc. It is equal for all the citizens be it PM or a ragpicker. This is the real beauty of the constitution.

The main reasons behind the vastness of the constitution are-

Historical background , We remain in the slavery of Britishers for almost 200 years & there are many things in our constitution which are directly picked from their constitution. Many things in our country are going according to the Brithsers so in order to continue these policies we have to adopt some parts of their constitution.e.g. Indian civil service was started by british which is now Indian Administrative services. Our education system was also part of their policy & it is still prevalent.

Geographical factors plays an important role in framing of constitution.Jammu & Kashmir have its own flag & different rules & regulations from other states.

Diversity in language, culture, religion will leads to frame new things according to their religion.Like 22 languages are considered to be main important languages in the schedule 8 of the constitution.

Suppression of scheduled castes(SCs) & scheduled tribes(STs) in the ancient time, therefore the founding forefathers thought of giving chance to these underprivileged part of society to lift themselves equal to the elite class by giving reservation.

Many countries had formed their constitution wayback in the 17th century so it makes easy for our drafting committee to take the best part if their constitution & put in ours.

It was the need to design a flexible constitution & this leads to go in deep of every aspect & this makes it too lengthy.Because of this we are still united even after seventh years of independence.

At last thanks to our head of constitution Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for giving every part of society to live in equality. This constitution is not for the rich it is for the poor & needy ones who actually suffers from many difficulties. Constitution protects their rights & giving them a stand to fight against all the odd in the society.

Thank you.

Geographical factors, that is, the vastness of the country and its diversity.

Historical factors, e.g., the influence of the Government of India Act of 1935, which was bulky.

Single Constitution for both the Centre and the states except Jammu and Kashmir4.

Dominance of legal luminaries in the Constituent Assembly.

Further, those matters which in other modern democratic countries have been left to the ordinary legislation or established political conventions have also been included in the constitutional document itself in India.
