The farmer’s movement did not help the farmers. They are forced to sell their lands to pay the loans. A lot of farmers are also committing suicides since they are unable to pay back the loans. They do not money to feed their families.  

These movements have been more beneficial for rich peasants. The country needs initiatives from civil societies to address the problems of the farmers in the country and for saving their farms and lives.
