AD from A to BC. is 6 cm. Find the area of AABC. What will be the height from C
to AB ie.. CE?​

Area of triangle is 1/2 * base * altitude

when taken BC as base

Area = 1/2* AD * BC

= 1/2 * 6 * 9= 27 square cm

when taken AB as base

Area = 1/2 * CE * AB

We know area is 27

27 = 1/2 * CE * 7.5

CE = 54/7.5

CE = 540/75= 7.2 cm
