it helps us to find the direction of induced current
place ur thumb, fore finger and centre finger perpendicular to one another. in such a way that the thumb gives u the direction of direction of magnetic field , fore finger in the direction of force and the direction in which the centre finger points gives u the direction of induced current

flemming right hand rule is that..
hold your thumb, forefinger and middle finger in right angles with one another in such a way that your forefinger points towards direction of magnetic field ,middle finger points towards direction of current then the direction in which your thumb points gives you the direction of force of motion.....
