In this experiment we take some water and candle (lighting candle).

Now we put a glass over the candle.

What will we observe

1. We will see after some time the candle extinguish. Due of lack of oxygen.

2.the heat from the flame increase the temperature in the glass.

Applying charle's law increases in temperature will increase in volume. (volume of air increases)

3.now temperature will decrease. Causing the volume to decrease. The water will rise into the glass to make up for lost volume, and achieve equilibrium.
