So,

5m + n = 2........ (¡)

6m- 3n = 1......... (¡¡)

On solving both the equations we get,

m= 1/7 & n= 9/7

Re substituting 1/(2+x) = m and 1/(y-4) = n

1/(2+x) = 1/7. 1/(y-4) = 9/7

2+x=7. y-4= 7/9 + 4

x= 5. y = 7/9

y = 43/9
