6 Rational numbers between -2/9 & 4/9

Soultion:

Firslty, We will multiply the numerator and denominator of both the numbers with 10.

$\frac{ - 2}{9} \times \frac{10}{10 \:} \: = \frac{ - 20}{90}$

$\frac{4}{9} \times \frac{10}{10} = \frac{40}{90}$

6 Rational numbers between these are

-19/90 , -18/90......... 2/90, 4/90, 5/90, 34/90 and so on

With this method you can find so many numbers between any two numbers. I used number 10 for ease of calculations otherwise you can take any number accordingly.

In such type of questions we have to multiply the given number's numerator and denominator with same number accordingly which is up to your choice.

For example: In this question by multiplying the numerator and denominator with number 2 would be sufficient instead of using 10 like I did .
