a+d=9. (1)
a+3d=25. (2)
by elimination method
-2d=-16
d=8
put the value of d in eq. 1
a+8=9
a=1
a3=a+2d
a+2d=b
1+16=b
b=17

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation

The numbers a,9,b,25 form an AP

9-a=b-9=25-b

Now,

b-9=25-b

=2b=34

b=17

And 9-a=b-9

a+b=18

a+17=18=1
