Hey friend,

Here is your answer,

Let the no. be x,
Now acc to the condition,

=> 5x - 5 = 4 + 2x
=> 5x - 2x = 4 + 5
=> 3x = 9
=> x = 9/3
=> x = 3

Therefore the no. that satisfies the condition is 3. (ans)

Hope it helps you.
Thank you.

Hey there \: !! <br />----------------<br /><br />Let \: Us \: assume \: that \: x \: be \: our \: \: required \: number <br /><br />\: \: then, \: according \: to \: our \: condition - <br /><br />
According to our first condition -

5x - 5 ....... ( 1 )

According to our second condition -

4 + 2x ..... ( 2 )

From 1st and and 2nd equation and keeping our condition we get -

5x - 5 = 4 + 2x

➭ 5x - 2x = 4 + 5

➭ 3x = 9

➭ x = 3

Hence 3 is our Desired number

Hope this would help you !!
