Given ,

The side of equilateral triangle is 16 cm

We know that , the area of equilateral triangle is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{Area =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(a)}^{2} }}

Thus ,

Area = √3/4 × (16)²

Area = √3/4 × 256

Area = √3 × 64

Area = 1.732 × 64

Area = 110.848 cm²

Therefore , the area of equilateral triangle is 64√3 cm² or 110.8 cm²
