Answer:

Let the inner triangle be triangle ABC

And the outer triangle be PQR

Therefore area of right angled triangle ABC

As we know to find out hypotenuse we use the formula given below

(H)^2= (B)^2 + (P)^2

= (12)^2 + (5)^2

= 144 + 25

= 169

(H)^2 = (13)^2

On both side there is square so square cut with square i.e. H = 13

Now we get the length of 3rd side

Area of triangle PQR = S × S × S

= 15 × 14 × 13

= 2730 m^2

Area of triangle ABC = S × S × S

= 780m^2

Area of shaded region =

area of triangle PQR-area of triangle ABC

= 2730-780= 1950 m^2
