here density of the ice is 9000kg/m3

edge of the ice cube is 2cm = 0.02 m

therefore volume of the ice cube is
= 0.02 × 0.02 × 0.02
= 0.000008 m3

hence we know mass of the ice is given by

density × volume
= 9000 × 0.000008
= 0.072 kg

hope it help

Answer:

0.072 kg is the mass of the given ice cube .

Explanation:

Given, edge of the ice cube = 2cm = 0.02 m

and density of the ice cube = 9000kg/m^3

As we know. volume of a cube = (edge)^3

Therefore, volume of the ice cube = (0.02^3)

And volume = \frac{Mass}{Density}

Therefore, Mass = volume × density .

Now put the  given values in the mass formula,

⇒ Mass = (0.02)^3 × 9000 = 0.072kg

Hence, mass of an ice cube is 0.072 kg.
