Dalits are the minority people who were the victims of caste system and racial discrimination. The landlord system also failed to eliminate the oppressive caste system. Dalits were exposed to untouchability and other subdual action despite those considered being illegal and unlawful.  

Child labor is mostly from the scheduled castes and tribes. Many low level jobs are considered to be the hereditary jobs of Dalits. Fifteen percent of the central Government jobs are preserved for the Dalits.  

Women Sarpanches also face certain problems based on the gender discrimination. But there are certain drawbacks like many women Sarpanches were not completely educated. It’s due to the supremacy and bossily attitude they reach that stage of becoming a Sarpanch.
