Answer:

here \: is \: your \: answer

Step-by-step explanation:

The above triangle is a right angle triangle

Perpendicular= 3

Hypotenuse= 5

Finding P( base) using Pythagorean theorem:-

p ^{2}  + b ^{2}  = h ^{2}

3 ^{2}  + x ^{2}  = 5 ^{2}

x^{2}  = 5 ^{2}  - 3 ^{2}

x ^{2}  = 25 - 9

x ^{2}  = 16

x = 4

Given:

Right angle Triangle with hypotenuse or H = 5 and Base Or B = 3

To Find:

Perpendicular or P

Solution:

using \:  \: Pythagorean \:  theorem

we Know that

 =  > H{}^{2}  = P{}^{2}  + B {}^{2}

 =  >  {5}^{2}  =  {P}^{2}  +  {3}^{2}

  =  > 25 = P {}^{2}  +  9

 =  > 25 - 9 = P {}^{2}

 =  > 16 = P {}^{2}

√16 = P

4 = P

Hence the value of P is 4 .
