perimeter of a square is given by the formula 4×side=4×8=32m
therefore 32 m is the perimeter of the square
now the. diagonal of a square divides the square into isoceles right angle triangle
therefore in isoceles right angle triangle ADC
8^2+8^2=AC^2. .............( Pythagoras theorem)
=> AC =8√2m
where AC is the diagonal.
area of a square =(side)^2
=8^2=64sq.m
