Heya.

Here is your answer....

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)

= 2 (40+41)

= 2 ( 81)

= 162.

Therefore the perimeter of rectangle is 162cm.

Length = 40 unit
Diagonal = 41 unit
Breadth= Have to find.

We know, all sides of rectangle are perpendicular to each other,

By Pythagoras Theorem,

( length )^2 + ( breadth )^2 = ( diagonal )^2

( 40 )^2 + ( breadth )^2 = ( 41 )^2

( breadth )^2 = ( 41 )^2 - ( 40 )^2

( breadth )^2 = 81

breadth = 9 unit

Then,
Perimeter  \:  \: of  \:  \: rectangle = 2(40 + 9) \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  | \:  \bold{ Perimeter \:  of \:  rectangle = 2(length \:   +  \: breadth)}

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( 49 )

Perimeter of rectangle = 98 unit
