Find radius of a right cylinder whose volume is 3080 cubic cm and its height is 20 CM

Volume of cylinder = π r²h
 
                     3080 = 22/7 × r² × 20

                          r² = 3080 × 7/22 × 1/20

                          r² = 49

                           r = √49 = 7 cm

Volume of a cylinder = 3,080cm^3

Height = 20cm

Radius = ?

Solution

Volume of a cylinder = πr^2h

=> 3,080 = 22/7 × r^2 × 20

=> 3,080/20 = 22/7 × r^2

=> 154 = 22/7 × r^2

=> 154 × 7/22 = r^2

=> 49 = r^2

=> r = √49

=> r = 7cm
