Solution :–

First term is always denoted by a.

• a = 2

Common difference (d) = $a_{2} - a_{1} = a_{3} - a_{2}$

d = 7 - 2 = 12 - 7

d = 5 = 5

d = 5

• d = 5

$\sf {n}^{th}$ term = a + (n - 1)d

10th term = a + (10 - 1)d

= a + 9d

= (2) + 9(5)

= 2 + 45

= 47.

Hence,

The tenth term of this A.P. is 47.
