◆ we know that formula for nth term is given by :-
=) tn = a + (n-1)d ------------(1)
where , a is 1st term
" d "is common difference
so , the given sequence is ,
=) 1 , 3.5 , 6 , 8.5 ..... upto n terms
=) d = 3.5 - 1 = 2.5
=) a = 1
=) n = 10
so putting these values in eqn (1) we get,
=) t10 = 1 + (10-1)2.5
= 1 + 9×2.5
= 1 + 22.5
= 23.5
Hence , 23.5 is the required term.
