Let the Total amount be " x "

x = 580 + 28% * 580

= 28% * 580

= 28 / 100 * 580  

= 28 / 10 * 58

= 2.8 * 58 

= 162.4

Cost price = Rs 580

So Total amount = 580 + 162.4

= Rs 742.4

Hence total cost of product after inclusion of GST is Rs 742.4.
