 Now angle between hands of clock : When minute hand is behind the hour hand, the angle between two hands at M minutes will be

30(h – m/5) + m/2 degree

We know that h = 10, m = 25, minute hand is behind the hour hand

= 30(10 – 25/5) + 25/2

= 30 (10 – 5) + 12.5

= 150 + 12.5

= 162.5

We need to find the reflex angle, so

Reflex angle will be 360 – 162.5 = 197.5 degree

                    Without Formula

10 hrs 25 minutes = 125/12 hours

Angle by hour hand in 12 hrs = 360 = 360/12 = 30

So angle by hour hand in 125/12 hour = 125/12 x 30

                                                      = 312.5

Again angle by minute hand in 60 min = 360 degree

Angle in 25 min will be 360 x 25/60 = 150 degree

So angle between hands of clock will be 312.5 – 150 = 162.5 degree

Now reflex angle will be 360 – 162.5 = 197.5 degree
