Hey frnd ,here is ur answer
i)90°
Soln:- Let the measure of the angle be x.
It's supplement=180-x
Since, angle is equal to it's supplement.
x=180-x
2x=180
x=90°

ii)45°
Let the measure of the angle be x.
It's complement=90-x
Since, angle is equal to it's complement
x=90-x
2x=90
x=45°

Hope this will help u.
:-)

Batu1: Btw ur class
rithvikshastry: im 9th
Batu1: It is correct
Batu1: See in ur book
rithvikshastry: if he gives some value of an angle then we can the the supplement and complement of it how can you say that it is 90 and 45
Batu1: I'm sorry for my mistake

Hello Its your answer.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let one angle be x and other be y,

We know that sum of two supplementary angles is 180°.

Hence, x+y=180°
But, both sides are equal.
Hence, x=y.
Therefore, x+x=180°
2x = 180°

Hence, x = 90°.
So, the angle which is equal to its supplement is 90°.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here,

Let one angle be x and other be y.
We know that sum of two complementary angles are 90°.

So, x+y = 90°

But, both angles are equal.

Hence, x=y.

Therefore, x+x = 90
°.
2x= 90
°
x= 45
°

Hence, the angle which is equal to its complement is 45
°.
