The above problem can be solved by using Pythagoras theorem

Let the side of the square plot be x
Since it is a square base is equal to perpendicular p=b
 p^{2}+ b^{2}=h^{2}   \\ p=b=a \\ h=14 \\  a^{2} + a^{2}=14^{2}    \\ 2 a^{2}=196 \\ a= \sqrt{ \frac{196}{2} }= \sqrt{98}

Area = [tex]a*a \\ \sqrt{96}* \sqrt{96} =96 [/tex]

Perimeter = 4*a \\ =39.19
