Answer:

GIVEN -

  • A triangle whose base = 24m
  • perpendicular = 7m

TO FIND -

  • AREA OF THE TRAINGLE

SOLUTION -

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 24 × 7

= 12× 7

= 84 m^2

More to know -

• Area of triangle can also be found by another formula named Heron's formula.

• we can apply that formula if 3 sides .

• Triangle is of 3 types

i) Equilateral - when all sides are equal

ii) isosceles - when 2 sides are equal

iii) scalene - when all sides are unequal
