Let the other sides= x cm
(x) 2+(12)2= (13)2
(x) 2+144=169
(x) 2=25
x= 5 cm

Area of triangle= 1/2×12×5=30 cm2.

Step-by-step explanation:

13 square = 169

12 square = 144

169-144 =

 \sqrt{25}  = 5

so,

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 12 \times 5

we cancle 12 by 2 we get 6 we multiply 6 by 1 and then by 5 we get the are = 30cm2
