By pythagorus theorem
(AC)^2=(AB)^2+(BC)^2
Let AB=BC=x Because sides are equal
(5under root 2)^2=(x)^2+(x)^2
25×2=2x^2
50/2=x^2
25=x^2
5=x
area of square = (5)^2=25
