Answer:

Given parallel sides of trapezium are 10cm,5cm

Height of trapezium = 8 cm

Area of trapezium with parallel sides a,b and height h = (a+b/2)*h

Area of trapezium = (10+5/2)*6 = (15/2) * 8 = 60 sq.cm

Given :-

  • Length of parallel side = 10cm and 5cm
  • Height = 8cm

To Find :-

  • Area of trapezium

Solution :-

Length of parallel side = 10cm and 5cm

Height = 8cm

{\boxed{\tt{Area\:of\:trapezium\:=\: \frac{1}{2}(Sum\:of\: parallel\:sides)h}}}

Substituting the value,

\mapsto{\tt{Area\:of\:trapezium\:=\: \frac{1}{2}(10+5)8}}

\mapsto{\tt{Area\:of\:trapezium\:=\: \frac{1}{2}×15×8}}

\mapsto{\tt{Area\:of\:trapezium\:=\:15×4}}

\large{\mathbb{\fcolorbox{purple}{black}{AREA\:OF\: TRAPEZIUM\:=\:60cm²}}}
