Area of trapezium = 1/2×Sum of parallel sides×Distance between them(height).

Here,

sum of parallel sides=24 &

Distance between them(h)=14.

So,

1/2x 24 x 14 = 168cm2.

Hence, area of trapezium is 168cm2.

Answer:

area of the trapezium=168 cm square

Step-by-step explanation:

area of trapezium= 1/2(sum of parallel sides* distance )

given:

sum of parallel sides = 24 cm

distance=14 cm

using the formula and putting the given values in the formula

area of trapezium=1/2(24*14)

area of trapezium=1/2(336)

area of trapezium=168 cm square
