the distance between parallel side of trapezium = height
1st side = 55cm
2nd side = 47cm
Area of trapezium =
1/2 × height × ( sum of parallel side )
= 1/2 × 20cm × (55 cm + 47cm)
= 1/2 × 20cm × 102cm
= 1/2 × 2040cm²
= 2040cm²/2
= 1020cm²
