by heron formula ,


semi perimeter = (1.6+1.2+2)/2


semi perimeter = 2.4

then 


area = root [2.4 * (2.4-1.6) * (2.4 - 1.2) * (2.4-2) ]

area  = root [2.4 * 0.8 * 1.2 * 0.4 ]

area  = root [0.9126]

area = 0.96 m^2
