=> Area of a triangle = Base × Height

 =  > area \: of \: the \: triangle \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{5}{5}

 =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{5}{5}   \\ \\    =  >  \frac{25}{2}  \\  \\  =  > 12.5sq.cm

Hence, The area of the triangle = 12.5 sq.cm
